Who we are
Many children today are missing out on the benefits of outdoor play, impacting their focus, regulation, coordination, and connection to the world around them and others. After working in clinics, schools, and home health for over seven years, TreeTots founder Felicia saw firsthand how much children are missing that valuable outdoor time.
TreeTots was created to meet this need by offering nature-based pediatric occupational therapy that supports whole-child development through play, movement, and connection with the natural world and others in small peer groups. We specialize in sensory, motor, emotional, and executive functioning skills in outdoor environments that foster curiosity, resilience, and creativity.
Sessions take place in parks, trails, and natural settings in DFW where children are free to explore, climb, balance, build, and engage in imaginative play. Each session is thoughtfully designed to meet your child’s developmental needs, nurturing confidence and independence, while also allowing time for unstructured, creative play.
In additon to OT groups, we also offer primarily unstructured, child-led play groups, which are peer-based gatherings that encourage creativity, collaboration, and spontaneous learning in nature.
At TreeTots, we believe kids grow best when they’re free to move, take risks, and connect with others in the real world. We’re here to help children build strong roots through play in nature.
